Drakor seems like a normal young ice dragon with a talent for making lightning swords. But he alone feels the changing heart of his island Volcano. It destroyed his beloved sire. Now he foresees their doom, but none will listen. As he seeks proof, the Volcano shakes him off into the frozen sea. Arak was mocked as a worthless dreamer until he and Scree, a fearless undersea misfit, saved the dragons. Now dragons and octopi sail north in search of mythical ice dragons. Love on a Limb - Review

Cancer. It's one of those words that make just about anyone cringe. But what happens when you're fighting a losing battle? For your life, for your voice, for dying on your own terms?

That's the question that bachelor Matt Grayken faces when he makes the choice to propose to Mikaela in the opening chapter of L.C. Lewis's contemporary romance, Love on a Limb.

Aaru - Review

Aaru - Review
Wow... Just finished Aaru by David Meredith. I've had it in my TBR pile for quite a while, as it got lost in a storm of review requests. Sitting around an airport for hours had me flipping through my Kindle files, and I ran across this story, and quickly shuffled it to the top of my (now written) list! And now that book 2 is out... I am trying to figure out how to shuffle some more...

Ragis - Review

Ragis - Review
Book four in Donna Migliaccio's Gemeta Stone series, Ragis, is quite a nail-biter. She grants no quarter to continuing readers of the series who have been hanging on the edge of a cliff for three books now, holding them in suspense in another installment of this fabulously crafted fantasy tale.

Pieces of Me - Review

Pieces of Me - Review

Another debut novel. YA/teen lit, not exactly romance, but it has a sweet little love story built into it.

This wasn't an easy read for me. I kind of knew it wouldn't be when Carrigan emailed me about reviewing PIECES OF ME. My family has front row seats to the unpleasant faces of mental health problems, and this stirred some painful memories.

The Redeemed - Review

The Redeemed - Review
The worst part about chasing one’s dream is catching it.

Six months ago, Kevin opened a Roadhouse of his own. No longer the idiot braving the dangerous post-nuclear highways of 2073, he thought he’d finally grow old and happy selling bullets, beds, and booze to those still foolish enough to get behind the wheel.

Reaper's Return - Review

Reaper's Return - Review
Introducing, a fun, and amazing book by the name of Reaper’s Return. Filled with magic, and some themes of steampunk, which I love. Plus, it had talking animals! Alright
